A base price of about $25,000 U.S. might be a bit too much to be asking for the 2001 Dodge Intrepid R/T which truthfully might not have enough brawn to back up its beauty.
The shift handle and steering wheel are wrapped in leather. Leather seats have R/T logos embroidered on to each headrest, and the legroom in the front and back seats abound.
Outside the Intrepid R/T has a body-color rear spoiler, dual chromed exhaust, foglamps, alloy wheels and taillamps with black surround.
It is definitely a family sedan, but perhaps worthy of being called a "vain" family sedan. She sure is lovely to look at.
It has good suspension, excellent brakes and as for going around corners this four-door beauty (albeit a large car) kept its tires tucked neatly to the road.
To be frank however, speed demons beware, the four-speed automatic just doesn't have the get up and go that you are looking for. Can you say slow reaction time?
However for the family in the suburbs, this is a sweet car-pool car and will be the envy of all sport-sedan lovers on the block. Just don't try to race them.
What does this beauty of a beast have under its hood?
